The Sensory Sleep Tunnel fits about two-thirds of the way up a standard mattress. This leaves enough room for your head to extend out the top and your feet to extend out the bottom. An open bottom also makes it easier to install and remove the Sleep Tunnel.
Please note: The standard mattress thickness varies from 15-25 centimeters. Depending on the thickness of your mattress, the Sensory Sleep Tunnel may be slightly tighter or looser.
The sleep tunnel is intended to enhance sensory experiences during sleep. It is not a medical device or a substitute for professional therapy or treatment. Consult a healthcare professional for specific sensory needs or concerns.
After installing the tunnel, you can, if desired, place the duvet back over the tunnel on the bed. When the child or adult goes to sleep, he or she can crawl under the tunnel from the head end, to a comfortable position with the head above the tunnel. The top of the tunnel is deliberately not finished, as this would limit the elasticity of the fabric, and a hem at the top can be perceived as a nuisance by highly sensitive children.
